For the last six weeks, I’ve spent a lot of my time and energy preparing for the Hillsong concert that happened Tuesday night. Now that it’s over, there’s some other stuff coming up that I’m pumped about:
In June, I’m starting work on a Master’s degree in Theology at Notre Dame. The more I teach, the more I realized I just don’t know very much. I’m excited to learn in an environment that’s rigorous with people who are passionate.
Toward the end of May, I’m heading to Woodleaf Camp, a YoungLife operation in California. I’ll be speaking to college students for a couple of days. I don’t have much firsthand experience with YoungLife, but there are plenty of people I respect who have great things to say about the organization. And I love talking to college students.
On Sunday, I’m heading to Q Conference with Tim Stevens, Kem Meyer, and Trace Rorie. The conference looks exciting, and it’s in Austin, TX. I’ve never been to Austin, but I hear their motto down there is “keep Austin weird”. Sounds like fun!
